Hadith 3599
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ اللَّيْثِيُّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدًا الْمَقْبُرِيَّ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ يَصُومُ يَوْمًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا زَحْزَحَهُ اللَّهُ عَنِ النَّارِ سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever fasts for one day in the way of Allah, Allah will distance him from Hell by a distance of seventy years."
Hadith 3600
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ أَبِي عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ صَامَ يَوْمًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، بَاعَدَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ بِذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ وَجْهَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever fasts for one day in the way of Allah, Allah will distance him from Hell by a distance of seventy years for that day."
Hadith 3601
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا، قَالَ: «كَانَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ لَا يَكَادُ يَصُومُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ أَجْلِ الْغَزْوِ، فَلَمَّا تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا رَأَيْتُهُ مُفْطِرًا إِلَّا يَوْمَ فِطْرٍ أَوْ أَضْحًى»
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says: "Sayyiduna Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) would often not fast during the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) because he used to participate in battles. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, after that I never saw him leaving the fast except on Eid al-Fitr or Eid al-Adha."
Hadith 3602
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَنْعُمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ صُدِعَ رَأْسَهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَاحْتَسَبَ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ مَا كَانَ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ مِنْ ذَنْبٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever is wounded in the way of Allah and seeks reward, Allah forgives all his past sins."
