Hadith 3593
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَ صَالِحُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «رَحِمَ اللَّهُ حَارِسَ الْأَحْرَاسِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir al-Juhani, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "May Allah have mercy on those who stand guard."
Hadith 3594
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَيْرِيزٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: «مَنْ حَرَسَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِكُلِّ لَيْلَةٍ قِيرَاطًا مِنَ الْأَجْرِ عَدَدَ مَنْ خَلَّفَ خَلْفَهُ مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ أَوْ كَافِرٍ»
Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Abdullah bin Muhairiz (may Allah have mercy on him) says that his father said: "Whoever stands guard in the way of Allah, Allah writes for him, in exchange for each day, a reward equal to the number of Muslims or disbelievers he has left behind."
