Hadith 3544
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، قَالَ: نا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ بُرْقَانَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي نُشْبَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " ثَلَاثٌ مِنْ أَصْلِ الْإِيمَانِ: الْكَفُّ عَمَّنْ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ لَا تُكَفِّرْهُ بِذَنْبٍ، وَلَا تُخْرِجْهُ مِنَ الْإِسْلَامِ بِعَمَلٍ، وَالْجِهَادُ مَاضٍ مُنْذُ بَعَثَنِي اللَّهُ إِلَى أَنْ يُقَاتِلَ آخِرُ أُمَّتِي الدَّجَّالَ، لَا يُبْطِلُهُ جَوْرُ جَائِرٍ، وَلَا عَدْلُ عَادِلٍ وَالْإِيمَانُ بِالْأَقْدَارِ "
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The foundation of faith is three: Do not declare anyone who says 'La ilaha illallah' (There is no god but Allah) a disbeliever because of a sin; Jihad will continue until the Day of Resurrection; and belief in destiny."
Hadith 3545
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، قَالَ: نا أَبُو رَجَاءٍ الْجَزَرِيُّ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " سَيَأْتِي النَّاسَ زَمَانٌ يَقُولُونَ: لَا جِهَادَ، فَإِذَا كَانَ ذَلِكَ فَجَاهِدُوا، فَإِنَّ الْجِهَادَ أَفْضَلُ "
Sayyiduna Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "A time will come when people will say there is no jihad. When that happens, then perform jihad, for jihad is the most virtuous."
Hadith 3546
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، قَالَا: «جِهَادُ الْمُشْرِكِينَ قَائِمٌ»
Sayyiduna Hasan and Sayyiduna Muhammad bin Sirin (may Allah have mercy on them) said: "Jihad against the polytheists is established."
Hadith 3547
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ الصُّورِيِّ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ بَعَثَنِي بِسَيْفِي بَيْنَ يَدَيِ السَّاعَةِ، وَجَعَلَ رِزْقِي تَحْتَ ظِلِّ رُمْحِي، وَجَعَلَ الذُّلَّ وَالصَّغَارَ عَلَى مَنْ خَالَفَنِي، وَمَنْ تَشَبَّهَ بِقَوْمٍ فَهُوَ مِنْهُمْ»
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah has sent me with the sword before the Hour, and my sustenance has been placed under the shadow of my spear, and humiliation and lowliness have been imposed upon those who oppose me, and whoever imitates a people is one of them."
Hadith 3548
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا رَجُلٌ، قَالَ دَعْلَجٌ: أُرَاهُ هُشَيْمٌ قَالَ: أنا مُغِيرَةُ، قَالَ: سُئِلَ عَنِ الْغَزْوِ مَعَ بَنِي مَرْوَانَ، وَذَكَرَ مَا يَصْنَعُونَ، فَقَالَ: «إِنْ عَرَّضَ بِهِ إِلَّا الشَّيْطَانُ لِيُثَبِّطَهُمْ عَنْ جِهَادِ عَدُوِّهِمْ»
Hazrat Mughira, may Allah have mercy on him, was asked about the ruling of jihad with Banu Marwan while there are some faults among them. He replied: "This is a whisper from Satan so that he may prevent you from jihad against the enemy."
Hadith 3549
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي ظَاهِرِينَ عَلَى الْحَقِّ لَا يَضُرُّهُمُ مَنْ خَذَلَهُمْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ، وَهُمْ كَذَلِكَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A group from my Ummah will always remain steadfast upon the truth; those who do not help them will not be able to harm them, until the command of Allah comes."
Hadith 3550
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أنا سَيَّارٌ، عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ، أُرَاهُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: «لَا تَبْرَحُ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةُ يُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ابْتِغَاءَ مَرْضَاتِ اللَّهِ مَنْصُورِينَ أَيْنَمَا تَوَجَّهُوا، يُقْذَفَ بِهِمْ كُلَّ مَقْذِفٍ، لَا يَضُرُّهُمُ مَنْ خَالَفَهُمْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ وَهُمْ كَذَلِكَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): "This Ummah will continue to perform Jihad for the sake of Allah's pleasure; wherever they go, they will remain successful, and no one will be able to harm them until Allah's command comes."
Hadith 3551
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أنا سَيَّارٌ، عَنْ جَبْرِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: «وَعَدَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَزْوَةَ الْهِنْدِ فَإِنْ أَدْرَكْتُهَا أَنْفَقْتُ فِيهَا مَالِي وَنَفْسِي، فَإِنْ قُتِلْتُ فِيهَا فَأَنَا أَفْضَلُ الشُّهَدَاءِ، وَإِنْ رَجَعْتُ فَأَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ الْمُحَرَّرُ»
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) promised us the jihad of India. If I reach there, I will devote my wealth and life. If I am killed, I will be among the best of martyrs, and if I return, I will be the freed Abu Huraira."
Hadith 3552
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، قَالَ: نا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا يَزَالُ نَاسٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي مَنْصُورِينَ لَا يَضُرُّهُمُ مَنْ خَذَلَهُمْ حَتَّى تَقُومَ السَّاعَةُ»
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A group from my Ummah will always remain victorious; those who do not help them will not be able to harm them until the Day of Resurrection comes."
Hadith 3553
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تَبْرَحُ عِصَابَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي ظَاهِرِينَ عَلَى الْحَقِّ لَا يُبَالُونَ مَنْ خَالَفَهُمْ حَتَّى يَخْرُجَ الْمَسِيحُ الدَّجَّالُ فَيُقَاتِلُونَهُ»
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A group from my Ummah will always remain dominant upon the truth; they will even fight against the Messiah al-Dajjal."
Hadith 3554
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الزُّهْرِيَّ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ: «سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أَيُّوبَ فِي غَزْوَةِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ»
Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) participated in the jihad of Yazid bin Muawiyah.
