Hadith 3529
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، قَالَ: قِيلَ لِصَفْوَانَ، وَذَلِكَ بَعْدَ الْفَتْحِ: إِنَّهُ لَا دِينَ لِمَنْ لَا يُهَاجِرُ، فَقَالَ: لَا أَصِلُ إِلَى مَنْزِلِي حَتَّى آتِيَ الْمَدِينَةَ، فَنَزَلَ عَلَى الْعَبَّاسِ، فَبَاتَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، فَجَاءَ سَارِقٌ فَسَرَقَ خَمِيصَتَهُ مِنْ تَحْتِ رَأْسِهِ فَأَخَذَهُ، فَأَتَى بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَمَرَ بِقَطْعِهِ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، هِيَ لَهُ، قَالَ: «فَهَلَّا قَبْلَ أَنْ تَأْتِيَنِي بِهِ، مَا جَاءَ بِكَ يَا أَبَا وَهْبٍ؟» قَالَ: قِيلَ إِنَّهُ لَا دِينَ لِمَنْ لَمْ يُهَاجِرْ، قَالَ: «ارْجِعْ أَبَا وَهْبٍ إِلَى أَبَاطِحِ مَكَّةَ، أَقِرُّوا عَلَى مَسْكَنِكُمْ فَقَدِ انْقَطَعَتِ الْهِجْرَةُ، وَلَكِنْ جِهَادٌ وَنِيَّةٌ، وَإِذَا اسْتُنْفِرْتُمْ فَانْفِرُوا»
Sayyiduna Safwan bin Umayyah (may Allah be pleased with him) said after the conquest of Makkah: "I will not return to my home until I come to Madinah." He stayed in the mosque, and a thief stole a sheet from under his head. The thief was caught and brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (the Prophet) ordered that his hand be cut off. Safwan said: "O Messenger of Allah! I have forgiven him." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Why did you not forgive him before bringing him to me?" Safwan said: "I was told that whoever does not migrate, his religion is not complete." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Now migration has ended, but intention and jihad remain, and when you are expelled, then leave."
Hadith 3530
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، أَنَّ ابْنَ أَبِي هِلَالٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُصَيْفَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ، عَنْ غَزِيَّةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ شَبَابًا مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ أَرَادُوا أَنْ يُهَاجِرُوا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَمَنَعَهُمْ آبَاؤُهُمْ، فَذَكَرُوا ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا هِجْرَةَ بَعْدَ الْفَتْحِ إِنَّمَا هُوَ الْحَشْرُ، وَالنِّيَّةُ، وَالْجِهَادُ»
Some young men of the Quraysh wanted to migrate to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, but their parents prevented them. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Now, after the conquest, there is no migration, only intention and jihad."
Hadith 3531
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ، عَنْ جُنَادَةَ بْنِ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ أَنَّ رِجَالًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ بَعْضُهُمُ: الْهِجْرَةُ قَدِ انْقَطَعَتْ، فَاخْتَلَفُوا فِي ذَلِكَ فَانْطَلَقْنَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَقُلْنَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , إِنَّ نَاسًا يَقُولُونَ: الْهِجْرَةَ قَدِ انْقَطَعَتْ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تَنْقَطِعُ الْهِجْرَةُ مَا كَانَ الْجِهَادُ»
Some of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) said: "Hijrah has ended." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked, and he said: "Hijrah will not end as long as Jihad remains."
