Hadith 3526
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ: «إِنَّمَا هُوَ سَرْجٌ وَرَحْلٌ، فَسَرْجٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، وَرَحْلٌ إِلَى بَيْتِ اللَّهِ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "This is either a saddle or a pack-saddle. So, let the saddle be in the way of Allah and the pack-saddle towards the House of Allah (the Ka'bah)."
Hadith 3527
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا صَالِحُ بْنُ مُوسَى الطَّلْحِيُّ، قَالَ: نا مَنْصُورٌ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَابِسِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُهُ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ يَخْطُبُ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: «إِذَا وَضَعْتُمُ السُّرُوجَ فَشُدُّوا الرِّحَالَ بِحَجٍّ أَوْ عُمْرَةٍ؛ فَإِنَّهَا أَحَدُ الْجِهَادَيْنِ»
Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) was delivering a sermon and said: "When you saddle the mounts, then set out with the intention of Hajj or Umrah, for both of these are Jihad in the way of Allah."
Hadith 3528
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ كَعْبٍ، قَالَ: " وَفْدُ اللَّهِ ثَلَاثَةٌ: الْحَاجُّ، وَالْمُعْتَمِرُ، وَالْغَازِي دَعَاهُمُ اللَّهُ فَأَجَابُوهُ، وَسَأَلُوا اللَّهَ فَأَعْطَاهُمْ "
Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "There are three delegations of Allah: the Haji (pilgrim), the one performing Umrah, and the one striving in the way of Allah. Allah called them, so they responded, and when they asked Allah, He granted them."
