Hadith 3508
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ قَعْنَبٍ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " حُرْمَةُ نِسَاءِ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ عَلَى الْقَاعِدِينَ كَحُرْمَةِ أُمَّهَاتِهِمْ، وَمَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْقَاعِدِينَ يَخْلُفُ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ فِي أَهْلِهِ إِلَّا نُصِبَ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَقِيلَ: إِنَّ هَذَا قَدْ خَلَفَكَ فِي أَهْلِكَ فَخُذْ مِنْ حَسَنَاتِهِ مَا شِئْتَ، فَالْتَفَتَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: «مَا ظَنُّكُمْ؟»
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The women of the Mujahideen are forbidden for those who stay behind just as their mothers are forbidden for them. And whoever among those who stay behind takes care of the family of a Mujahid in his absence, it will be said to him on the Day of Resurrection: 'This is so-and-so, he took care of your family in your absence.' Then he may take from the deeds of the Mujahid whatever he wishes." Then the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "What do you think?"
