Hadith 1178
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، وَأَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، وَجَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحْوَلِ، عَنْ مُوَرِّقٍ الْعِجْلِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: «تَعَلَّمُوا الْفَرَائِضَ وَاللَّحْنَ وَالسُّنَّةَ، كَمَا تَعَلَّمُونَ الْقُرْآنَ»
Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Learn the obligatory duties, correct pronunciation, and the Sunnahs just as you learn the Qur'an."
أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّيْخُ الْحَافِظُ أَبُو الْبَرَكَاتِ عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْأَنْمَاطِيُّ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا الثِّقَةُ أَبُو طَاهِرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْبَاقِلَانِيُّ الْكَرْخِيُّ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ دَعْلَجُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ دَعْلَجٍ السِّجِسْتَانِيُّ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ الصَّائِغُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ:
Sheikh, Hafiz, Abu al-Barakat Abdul Wahab bin al-Mubarak bin Ahmad bin al-Hasan al-Anmati informed us, he said: The trustworthy Abu Tahir Ahmad bin al-Hasan al-Baqillani al-Karkhi, may Allah have mercy on him, informed us, he said: Abu Ali al-Hasan bin Ahmad bin Ibrahim bin al-Hasan bin Muhammad bin Shadhan informed us, in whose presence it was read and I was listening. He said: Abu Muhammad Daalij bin Ahmad bin Daalij al-Sijistani informed us, he said: Muhammad bin Ali bin Zayd al-Saigh informed us, he said: Sa'id bin Mansur narrated to us.
Hadith 1178

Hadith 1179
سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ، وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: قَالَ عُمَرُ: «تَعَلَّمُوا الْفَرَائِضَ فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ دِينِكُمْ»
Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Learn the obligatory duties, for they are a part of your religion."
Hadith 1180
سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، قَالَ: أنا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: «مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ فَلْيَتَعَلَّمِ الْفَرَائِضَ»
Saeed said: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Whoever learns the Qur'an should also learn the obligatory duties."
Hadith 1181
سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ، قَالَ: ثنا قَتَادَةُ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَرْحَمُ أُمَّتِي بِأُمَّتِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ، وَأَشَدُّهُمْ وَأَرَقُّهُمْ فِي أَمْرِ اللَّهِ عُمَرُ، وَأَشَدُّهُمْ حَيَاءً عُثْمَانُ، وَأَعْلَمُهُمْ بِالْحَلَالِ وَالْحَرَامِ مُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ، وَأَفْرَضُهُمْ زَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، وَأَقْرَؤُهُمْ أُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ» . وَكَانَ يُقَالُ: أَعْلَمُهُمْ بِالْقَضَاءِ عَلِيٌّ
Sa'id narrated from Qatadah that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The one who has the most mercy for my Ummah among my Ummah is Abu Bakr, and the one who is the strictest and most tender-hearted regarding the matter of Allah is Umar, and the one among them with the most modesty and shyness is Uthman, and the one who knows the most about what is lawful and unlawful is Mu'adh bin Jabal, and the one who is the most expert regarding the obligations is Zayd bin Thabit, and the one who recites the Qur'an the most is Ubayy bin Ka'b." And it was said: "The one who knows the most about judgments is Ali (may Allah be pleased with him)."
