Verse (31) His saying, Exalted is He: {And if there was any Qur'an by which the mountains would be removed or the earth would be broken apart or the dead would be made to speak, [it would be this Qur'an], but to Allah belongs the affair entirely. Then have those who believed not accepted that had Allah willed, He would have guided the people, all of them? And those who disbelieve—disaster will not cease to strike them for what they have done or will settle near their home until the promise of Allah comes. Indeed, Allah does not fail in [His] promise}

I recited this verse to Ikrimah (may Allah have mercy on him): ﴿Afa lam yay’asi alladhina kafaru﴾, so he said: This is ﴿Falyatabayyan alladhina amanu﴾. Then I mentioned this to Shahr bin Hawshab (may Allah have mercy on him), and he said: He spoke the truth, Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) had referred me to this as well.

Hadith Gradingمحدثین:سنده ضعيف لضعف حنظلة، ولكن صح عن ابن عباس كما سيأتي أنه قرأها: (أفلم يتبيّن).
Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “And those who disbelieve will continue to be struck, because of what they have done, by a calamity or it will descend near their homes” (__QUR_N__). That is, you will camp near their homes.
