بَابُ 50 تَفْسِيرِ سُورَةِ الرَّعْدِ الْآيَةُ (4) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَفِي الأَرْضِ قِطَعٌ مُتَجَاوِرَاتٌ وَجَنَّاتٌ مِنْ أَعْنَابٍ وَزَرْعٌ وَنَخِيلٌ صِنْوَانٌ وَغَيْرُ صِنْوَانٍ يُسْقَى بِمَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ} الْآيَةَ
Chapter 50: Interpretation of Surah Ar-Ra'd, Verse (4) His saying, Exalted is He: {And in the earth are neighboring tracts and gardens of grapevines and crops and palm trees, [growing] several from a root or otherwise, watered with one water} the verse

Hadith 1153
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا حُدَيْجُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: { صِنْوَانٌ وَغَيْرُ صِنْوَانٍ } - قَالَ: الصِّنْوَانُ أَنْ يَكُونَ أَصْلُهَا وَاحِدًا وَرُؤُوسُهَا مُتَفَرِّقَةً، وَغَيْرُ صِنْوَانٍ أَنْ تَكُونَ النَّخْلَةُ مُنْفَرِدَةً لَيْسَ عِنْدَهَا شَيْءٌ .
Sayyiduna Bara’ bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “(Sinwanun wa ghayru sinwanin)” — Sinwan is that which has one root and separate branches, and ghayru sinwan is that which is alone and has no tree with it.
