الْآيَةُ (101) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {رَبِّ قَدْ آتَيْتَنِي مِنَ الْمُلْكِ وَعَلَّمْتَنِي مِنْ تَأْوِيلِ الأَحَادِيثِ فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ أَنْتَ وَلِيِّي فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ تَوَفَّنِي مُسْلِمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ}
Verse (101) His saying, Exalted is He: {My Lord, You have given me [something] of sovereignty and taught me of the interpretation of dreams. Creator of the heavens and earth, You are my protector in this world and the Hereafter. Cause me to die a Muslim and join me with the righteous}

Hadith 1145
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سُفْيَانَ تَلَا هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ: { رَبِّ قَدْ آتَيْتَنِي مِنَ الْمُلْكِ وَعَلَّمْتَنِي مِنْ تَأْوِيلِ الأَحَادِيثِ فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ أَنْتَ وَلِيِّي فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ تَوَفَّنِي مُسْلِمًا } - قَالَ: مَا سَأَلَهَا أَحَدٌ قَبْلَهُ، حِينَ اجْتَمَعَ لَهُ أَبَوَاهُ وَفَرِحَ سَأَلَ رَبَّهُ أَنْ يَتَوَفَّاهُ وَيُلْحِقَهُ بِالصَّالِحِينَ .
Saeed (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that I heard Sufyan (may Allah have mercy on him) reciting this verse: “My Lord, You have given me sovereignty and taught me the interpretation of dreams. Creator of the heavens and the earth! You are my Protector in this world and the Hereafter. Cause me to die a Muslim.” That is, O my Lord, You have granted me kingship and taught me the knowledge of interpreting dreams. O Creator of the heavens and the earth! You are my Protector in this world and the Hereafter; cause me to die as a Muslim. Sufyan (may Allah have mercy on him) says: Our master Yusuf (peace be upon him) made this request when his parents were gathered with him and he was happy, so he prayed to his Lord to cause him to die and join him with the righteous.
