الْآيَةُ (76) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {نَرْفَعُ دَرَجَاتٍ مَنْ نَشَاءُ وَفَوْقَ كُلِّ ذِي عِلْمٍ عَلِيمٌ}
Verse (76) His saying, Exalted is He: {We raise in degrees whom We will, but over every possessor of knowledge is one [more] knowing}

Hadith 1137
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: { وَفَوْقَ كُلِّ ذِي عِلْمٍ عَلِيمٌ } - قَالَ: اللهُ الْعَلِيمُ الْخَبِيرُ فَوْقَ كُلِّ عَالِمٍ .
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Regarding the verse ﴿وَفَوْقَ كُلِّ ذِي عِلْمٍ عَلِيمٌ﴾, that is, "And above every possessor of knowledge is one more knowing," it means that Allah, the All-Knowing and All-Aware, is above every scholar.
