الْآيَةُ (30) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَقَالَ نِسْوَةٌ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ امْرَأَتُ الْعَزِيزِ تُرَاوِدُ فَتَاهَا عَنْ نَفْسِهِ قَدْ شَغَفَهَا حُبًّا إِنَّا لَنَرَاهَا فِي ضَلالٍ مُبِينٍ}
Verse (30) His saying, Exalted is He: {And women in the city said, "The wife of al-'Aziz is seeking to seduce her slave boy. He has impassioned her with love; indeed, we see her in clear error"}

Hadith 1122
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ: { قَدْ شَغَفَهَا حُبًّا } وَيَقُولُ: الشَّغَفُ شَغَفُ الْحُبِّ، وَالشَّعَفُ شَعَفُ الدَّابَّةِ حِينَ تُذْعَرُ .
Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) used to recite this verse: "Indeed, her love for him has penetrated to the depths of her heart" [QUR_N], meaning that indeed her passion had reached the innermost part of her heart. And he used to say: The meaning of "shaghaf" is that love reaches the depth of the heart, and "shu‘af" refers to the state when an animal bolts away out of fear.
Hadith 1123
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَعَوْفٌ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَنَّهُمَا قَرَيَا: { شَغَفَهَا } .
Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) and ‘Awf (may Allah have mercy on him) both used to recite (shaghafaha), meaning love reached the depths of his heart.
