الْآيَةُ (100) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {ذَلِكَ مِنْ أَنْبَاءِ الْقُرَى نَقُصُّهُ عَلَيْكَ مِنْهَا قَائِمٌ وَحَصِيدٌ}

Verse (100) His saying, Exalted is He: {That is from the news of the cities which We relate to you; of them, some are standing and [some] mown down}

Hadith 1101
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: { مِنْهَا قَائِمٌ وَحَصِيدٌ } - قَالَ: الْقَائِمُ مَا كَانَ مِنَ الْجَدْرِ قَائِمًا، وَالْحَصِيدُ مَا وَقَعَ بِالْأَرْضِ .
Muhammad bin Ka'b, may Allah have mercy on him, said: “Minhaa qaa'imun wa haseed” means among them are some standing and some cut down. By “qaa'im” is meant the wall that is still standing, and by “haseed” is meant the one that has fallen to the ground.
