الْآيَةُ (86) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {بَقِيَّتُ اللهِ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ وَمَا أَنَا عَلَيْكُمْ بِحَفِيظٍ}
Verse (86) His saying, Exalted is He: {What remains [lawful] from Allah is best for you, if you should be believers. And I am not a guardian over you}

Hadith 1099
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِئَ، قَالَ: سُئِلَ سُفْيَانُ عَنْ قَوْلِهِ: { بَقِيَّتُ اللهِ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ } - قَالَ: طَاعَةُ اللهِ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ، أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ الرَّجُلَ يَقُولُ: أَيْ فُلَانُ، اتَّقِ اللهَ، أَبْقِ عَلَى نَفْسِكَ .
Sufyan (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “The remainder of Allah is better for you,” meaning Allah’s remainder is better for you, that is, obedience to Allah is better for you. Have you not seen that a man says: O so-and-so! Fear Allah, preserve yourself.
