الْآيَةُ (79) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {الَّذِينَ يَلْمِزُونَ الْمُطَّوِّعِينَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فِي الصَّدَقَاتِ وَالَّذِينَ لا يَجِدُونَ إِلا جُهْدَهُمْ}
Verse (79) His saying, Exalted is He: {Those who criticize the contributors among the believers concerning [their] charities and [criticize] the ones who find nothing [to spend] except their effort}

Hadith 1027
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ: { وَالَّذِينَ لا يَجِدُونَ إِلا جُهْدَهُمْ } قَالَ: الْجُهْدُ فِي الْقِيتَةِ، وَالْجُهْدُ: الْجَهْدُ .
Shu'bi, may Allah have mercy on him, used to recite: ﴿وَالَّذِينَ لَا يَجِدُونَ إِلَّا جُهْدَهُمْ﴾ and used to say: "'Al-juhd' refers to neediness in food, and both 'al-juhd' and 'al-jahd' are recited."
