الْآيَةُ (37) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {إِنَّمَا النَّسِيءُ زِيَادَةٌ فِي الْكُفْرِ يُضَلُّ بِهِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يُحِلُّونَهُ عَامًا وَيُحَرِّمُونَهُ عَامًا} الْآيَةَ
Verse (37) His saying, Exalted is He: {Indeed, the postponing [of restriction within sacred months] is an increase in disbelief by which those who have disbelieved are led [further] astray. They make it lawful one year and unlawful another year} the verse

Hadith 1015
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: { إِنَّمَا النَّسِيءُ زِيَادَةٌ فِي الْكُفْرِ } - قَالَ: كَانَ النَّاسِي رَجُلًا مِنْ كِنَانَةَ، وَكَانَ ذَا رَأْيٍ فِيهِمْ، وَكَانَ يَجْعَلُ الْمُحَرَّمَ سَنَةً صَفَرًا فَيَغْزُو فِيهِ فَيُصِيبُ فِيهِ، وَسَنَةً يُحَرِّمُهُ فَلَا يَغْزُو فِيهِ، وَهُوَ قَوْلُهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: { يُحِلُّونَهُ عَامًا وَيُحَرِّمُونَهُ عَامًا } .
Abu Wa'il (may Allah have mercy on him) said regarding Allah the Exalted's statement: "Indeed, postponing [of the sacred months] is an increase in disbelief" — Nasi’ was a man from the tribe of Kinanah who was very influential among his people. In one year, he would declare Muharram to be Safar, fight during it, and acquire spoils of war; and in the next year, he would declare Muharram to be a sacred month and would not fight during it. And this is the statement of Allah the Exalted «يُحِلُّونَهُ عَامًا وَيُحَرِّمُونَهُ عَامًا».
