الْآيَةُ (127) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَقَالَ الْمَلأُ مِنْ قَوْمِ فِرْعَوْنَ أَتَذَرُ مُوسَى وَقَوْمَهُ لِيُفْسِدُوا فِي الأَرْضِ وَيَذَرَكَ وَآلِهَتَكَ}
Verse (127) His saying, Exalted is He: {And the eminent among the people of Pharaoh said, "Will you leave Moses and his people to cause corruption in the land and abandon you and your gods?"}

Hadith 959
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا عَمْرُو بْنُ حَسَنٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ: (وَيَذَرَكَ وَإِلَهَتَكَ) . قَالَ: فِرْعَوْنُ يُعْبَدُ وَلَا يَعْبُدُ .
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to recite: "wa yadharaka wa ilahatak" and used to say: Pharaoh himself was a deity; he did not worship.
