الْآيَةُ (159) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ فَرَّقُوا دِينَهُمْ وَكَانُوا شِيَعًا لَسْتَ مِنْهُمْ فِي شَيْءٍ إِنَّمَا أَمْرُهُمْ إِلَى اللهِ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُهُمْ بِمَا كَانُوا يَفْعَلُونَ}
Verse (159) His saying, Exalted is He: {Indeed, those who have divided their religion and become sects—you, [O Muhammad], are not [associated] with them in anything. Their affair is only left to Allah; then He will inform them about what they used to do}

Hadith 941
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا حِبَّانُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ مُجَالِدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: بَكَى مُرَّةُ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ: مَا يُبْكِيكَ ؟ فَقَالَ: إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ يَكُونَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْكُمْ بَرِيءٌ، إِنِّي أَسْمَعُ اللهَ يَقُولُ: { إِنَّ الَّذِينَ فَرَّقُوا دِينَهُمْ وَكَانُوا شِيَعًا لَسْتَ مِنْهُمْ فِي شَيْءٍ } - فَأَخَافُ أَنْ لَا يَكُونَ اللهُ مِنَّا فِي شَيْءٍ .
Murrah al-Hamdani, may Allah have mercy on him, began to weep, so it was said to him: What has made you weep? He said: I fear that Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, will become displeased with us, because I hear the statement of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic: ﴿إِنَّ الَّذِينَ فَرَّقُوا دِينَهُمْ وَكَانُوا شِيَعًا لَسْتَ مِنْهُمْ فِي شَيْءٍ﴾ "Indeed, those who have divided their religion and become sects, you have nothing to do with them," and I fear that Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, will have nothing to do with us.
