قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَنْ يَرْتَدَّ مِنْكُمْ عَنْ دِينِهِ فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِي اللهُ بِقَوْمٍ يُحِبُّهُمْ} .
His (Allah's) saying: {O you who have believed, whoever of you should revert from his religion—Allah will bring forth [in place of them] a people He will love}

Hadith 766
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، قَالَ: نَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ السَّرِيِّ بْنِ يَحْيَى، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: { فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِي اللهُ بِقَوْمٍ يُحِبُّهُمْ وَيُحِبُّونَهُ } قَالَ: وِلَايَةُ اللهِ – وَاللهِ - أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَأَصْحَابَهُ .
Hasan al-Basri, may Allah have mercy on him, in the explanation of Allah the Exalted’s statement: ﴿فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِي اللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍ يُحِبُّهُمْ وَيُحِبُّونَهُ﴾, said: By Allah, the love and friendship of Allah refers to Sayyiduna Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, and his companions.
