قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَى لِقَوْمِهِ يَا قَوْمِ اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ جَعَلَ فِيكُمْ أَنْبِيَاءَ وَجَعَلَكُمْ مُلُوكًا وَآتَاكُمْ مَا لَمْ يُؤْتِ أَحَدًا مِنَ الْعَالَمِينَ}
His (Allah's) saying: {And [mention] when Moses said to his people: O my people, remember the favor of Allah upon you when He appointed among you prophets and made you kings and gave you what He had not given anyone among the worlds}

Hadith 725
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، قَالَ: نَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: { وَجَعَلَكُمْ مُلُوكًا } قَالَ: كَانَتْ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ إِذَا كَانَ لِأَحَدِهِمْ بَيْتٌ وَخَادِمٌ فَهُوَ مَلِكٌ .
Hakam, may Allah have mercy on him, said in the explanation of Allah the Exalted’s statement: “And He made you kings” (__QUR_N__), that among the Children of Israel, whoever had a house and a servant was considered a king.
Hadith 726
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو هَانِئٍ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيَّ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، وَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ: أَلَسْنَا مِنْ فُقَرَاءِ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ ؟ قَالَ لَهُ عَبْدُ اللهِ: لَكَ امْرَأَةٌ تَأْوِي إِلَيْهَا ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: أَلَكَ مَسْكَنٌ تَسْكُنُهُ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: فَأَنْتَ مِنَ الْأَغْنِيَاءِ، قَالَ: إِنَّ لِي خَادِمًا، قَالَ: فَأَنْتَ مِنَ الْمُلُوكِ .
A man asked Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with them): "Are we not among the poor emigrants?" So he (may Allah be pleased with them) asked him: "Do you have a wife to whom you go?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Do you have a house to live in?" He said: "Yes." He said: "You are among the wealthy." He said: "I also have a servant." He said: "Then you are among the kings."
