قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَإِنْ أَرَدْتُمُ اسْتِبْدَالَ زَوْجٍ مَكَانَ زَوْجٍ وَآتَيْتُمْ إِحْدَاهُنَّ قِنْطَارًا فَلا تَأْخُذُوا مِنْهُ شَيْئًا أَتَأْخُذُونَهُ بُهْتَانًا وَإِثْمًا مُبِينًا}
His (Allah's) saying: {And if you wish to replace one wife with another and you have given one of them a great amount [in gifts], do not take [back] from it anything. Would you take it in injustice and manifest sin?}

Hadith 598
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ: الْقِنْطَارُ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ دِينَارٍ .
Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "A qintar is equal to seventy thousand dinars."
Hadith 599
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ عَوْفٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ: الْقِنْطَارُ دِيَةُ الْحُرِّ .
Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "A qintar is the blood money (diyah) for a free man."
