His (Allah's) saying: {So their Lord responded to them: I do not let the work of any worker among you, male or female, be lost. You are from one another. So those who emigrated, were expelled from their homes, were harmed in My cause, fought and were killed, I will surely remove from them their misdeeds and admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, a reward from Allah. And with Allah is the best reward}

Lady Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Do I not see that Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, has not mentioned women in relation to migration? So Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, revealed this verse: ﴿فَاسْتَجَابَلَهُمْرَبُّهُمْأَنِّيلَاأُضِيعُعَمَلَعَامِلٍمِنْكُمْمِنْذَكَرٍأَوْأُنْثَىٰ﴾ (So their Lord responded to them: Indeed, I do not allow the work of any worker among you to be lost, whether male or female). The Ansar said: She is the first woman who migrated to us.
