قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَلا يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ بِمَا آتَاهُمُ اللهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ هُوَ خَيْرًا لَهُمْ بَلْ هُوَ شَرٌّ لَهُمْ سَيُطَوَّقُونَ مَا بَخِلُوا بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ}
His (Allah's) saying: {And let not those who withhold what Allah has given them of His bounty think it is good for them; rather, it is bad for them. They will be encircled by what they withheld on the Day of Resurrection}

Hadith 549
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ - فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: { سَيُطَوَّقُونَ مَا بَخِلُوا بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ } قَالَ: يُطَوَّقُ شُجَاعًا أَقْرَعَ بِفِيهِ زَبِيبَتَانِ يَنْقُرُ رَأْسَهُ، فَيَقُولُ: مَا لِي وَلَكَ ؟ فَيَقُولُ: أَنَا مَالُكَ الَّذِي بَخِلْتَ بِي .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said in the explanation of (They will be made to wear that which they withheld, on the Day of Resurrection): That wealth will be turned into a bald snake on the Day of Resurrection and placed around his neck as a collar, with poisonous fangs on both sides of its mouth. It will bite his head, and he will say: What do I have to do with you? The snake will say: I am your wealth which you used to withhold.
Hadith 550
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا خَلَفُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ، قَالَ: نَا أَبُو هَاشِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، قَالَ: هُوَ الرَّجُلُ يَرْزُقُهُ اللهُ الْمَالَ، فَيَمْنَعُ قَرَابَتَهُ الْحَقَّ الَّذِي جَعَلَ اللهُ لَهُمْ فِي مَالِهِ، فَيُجْعَلُ حَيَّةً، فَيُطَوَّقُهَا فَيَقُولُ لِلْحَيَّةِ: مَا لِي وَمَا لَكِ ؟ فَتَقُولُ: أَنَا مَالُكَ .
Masruq (may Allah have mercy on him) said: This is the person to whom Allah gives wealth, but he does not give the rightful shares prescribed by Allah to his close relatives from that wealth. So that wealth is turned into a snake and made into a collar around his neck. Then he says to that snake: What do I have to do with you? The snake says: I am your wealth.
Hadith 551
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ - فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: { سَيُطَوَّقُونَ مَا بَخِلُوا بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ } - قَالَ: طَوْقٌ مِنْ نَارٍ .
Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “They will be made to wear that which they withheld as a collar on the Day of Resurrection” (whatever they used to withhold will be made into a collar for them on the Day of Resurrection); this means a collar of fire.
