قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَقَالَ لَهُمْ نَبِيُّهُمْ إِنَّ آيَةَ مُلْكِهِ أَنْ يَأْتِيَكُمُ التَّابُوتُ فِيهِ سَكِينَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَبَقِيَّةٌ مِمَّا تَرَكَ آلُ مُوسَى وَآلُ هَارُونَ تَحْمِلُهُ الْمَلائِكَةُ}
His saying, Exalted is He: {And their prophet said to them, "Indeed, a sign of his kingship is that the chest will come to you in which is assurance from your Lord and a remnant of what the family of Moses and the family of Aaron had left, carried by the angels."}

Hadith 418
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ، أَمَرَ فِتْيَانَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ، وَالْأَنْصَارِ أَنْ يَكْتُبُوا الْمَصَاحِفَ، قَالَ: فَمَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِيهِ، فَاجْعَلُوهُ بِلِسَانِ قُرَيْشٍ، فَقَالَ الْمُهَاجِرُونَ: التَّابُوتُ، وَقَالَ الْأَنْصَارُ: التَّابُوهُ، فَقَالَ عُثْمَانُ: اكْتُبُوهُ بِلُغَةِ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ: التَّابُوتُ .
Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) ordered the young men of the Muhajirun and Ansar to write the manuscripts, and said: Whatever you differ about, write it in the language of the Quraysh. So the Muhajirun said: "al-Tabut" and the Ansar said: "al-Tabuah," so Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Write it in the language of the Muhajirun: "al-Tabut."
Hadith 419
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ: لَا يَلِيَنَّ مَصَاحِفَنَا إِلَّا غِلْمَانُ قُرَيْشٍ، وَثَقِيفَ .
Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Only the youths of Quraysh and Thaqif should write our manuscripts.
Hadith 420
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ - فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: { سَكِينَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ } - قَالَ: طَسْتٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ، يُغْسَلُ فِيهَا قُلُوبُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ .
As-Suddi, may Allah have mercy on him, said: “Sakinah from your Lord” means a golden basin in which the hearts of the Prophets were washed.
Hadith 421
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ ظُهَيْرٍ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: طَسْتٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ، يُغْسَلُ فِيهَا قُلُوبُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ .
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: A golden basin in which the hearts of the Prophets were washed.
Hadith 422
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ - فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: { وَبَقِيَّةٌ مِمَّا تَرَكَ آلُ مُوسَى وَآلُ هَارُونَ } - قَالَ: كَانَ فِيهِ عَصَا مُوسَى، وَعَصَا هَارُونَ، وَثِيَابُ مُوسَى، وَثِيَابُ هَارُونَ، وَلَوْحَانِ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَالْمَنِّ .
Abu Salih (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “And a remnant of what the family of Musa and the family of Harun left behind” __QUR_N__, that is, in it were the staff of Musa (peace be upon him), the staff of Harun (peace be upon him), the clothes of Musa (peace be upon him) and Harun (peace be upon him), the two tablets of the Torah, and manna.
