قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {نِسَاؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَكُمْ فَأْتُوا حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ}
His saying, Exalted is He: {Your wives are a place of sowing for you, so come to your place of cultivation however you wish.}

Hadith 366
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: قَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ: إِنَّمَا يَكُونُ الْوَلَدُ أَحْوَلَ إِذَا أَتَى الرَّجُلُ امْرَأَتَهُ مِنْ خَلْفِهَا، فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: { نِسَاؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَكُمْ فَأْتُوا حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ } مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهَا، وَمِنْ خَلْفِهَا، وَلَا يَأْتِيهَا إِلَّا فِي الْمَأْتَى .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Jews said: A child is born cross-eyed when a man approaches his wife from behind. So Allah the Exalted revealed this verse: "Your wives are a place of sowing of seed for you, so come to your place of cultivation however you wish" (__QUR_N__). That is, approach the woman from the front or from behind, but intercourse should only be in the lawful (legal) way.
Hadith 367
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ جَابِرًا يَقُولُ: كَانَتِ الْيَهُودُ تَقُولُ: مَنْ أَتَى امْرَأَتَهُ مِنْ دُبُرِهَا فِي قُبُلِهَا، كَانَ الْوَلَدُ أَحْوَلَ، فَنَزَلَتْ: { نِسَاؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَكُمْ فَأْتُوا حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ } .
Muhammad bin al-Munkadir (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates: I heard Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) say: The Jews used to say that whoever approaches his wife from behind but in her private part, the child born will be cross-eyed. So Allah the Exalted revealed this verse: "Your wives are a place of sowing for you, so come to your place of sowing however you wish" (__QUR_N__). That is, you may approach your wife in any manner, but intercourse should only be through the lawful (natural) way.
Hadith 368
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ الْهَادِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ هَرَمِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْوَاقِفِيِّ، عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يَسْتَحْيِي مِنَ الْحَقِّ، لَا تَأْتُوا النِّسَاءَ فِي أَدْبَارِهِنَّ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah does not feel shy in stating the truth. Do not approach women from the rear."
Hadith 369
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: نَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يَسْتَحْيِي مِنَ الْحَقِّ، لَا تَأْتُوا النِّسَاءَ فِي أَدْبَارِهِنَّ .

Hadith 370
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الشَّقَرِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْقَعْقَاعِ، قَالَ: شَهِدْتُ الْقَادِسِيَّةَ وَأَنَا غُلَامٌ - أَوْ يَافِعٌ -، قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ فَقَالَ: آتِي امْرَأَتِي كَيْفَ شِئْتُ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ . قَالَ: وَحَيْثُ شِئْتُ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ . قَالَ: وَأَنَّى شِئْتُ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ . قَالَ: فَفَطِنَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّهُ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَأْتِيَهَا فِي مَقْعَدَتِهَا، فَقَالَ: لَا، مَحَاشُّ النِّسَاءِ عَلَيْكُمْ حَرَامٌ .
A man came to Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) and asked: "Can I approach my wife as I wish?" Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) replied: "Yes." He asked: "And wherever I wish?" He replied: "Yes." He asked: "And in whatever manner I wish?" He replied: "Yes." At that moment, a person understood that he wanted to approach his wife from the rear, so he said: "He wants to approach his wife from the back passage." Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) said: "No, the back passages of women are forbidden for you."
