His saying, Exalted is He: {And whoever hastens [his departure] in two days—there is no sin upon him; and whoever delays—there is no sin upon him—for him who fears Allah.}

Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The meaning of ﴿فَمَنْتَعَجَّلَفِييَوْمَيْنِفَلَاإِثْمَعَلَيْهِ﴾ is that if someone returns on the second day, there is no sin upon him, and if he stays until the third day, there is also no sin upon him.

Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: If someone hastens and returns the next day, there is no sin upon him, and if he delays and stays until the third day, there is also no sin upon him.
