قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {الْحَجُّ أَشْهُرٌ مَعْلُومَاتٌ}

Hadith 328
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، - فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: { الْحَجُّ أَشْهُرٌ مَعْلُومَاتٌ } - قَالَ: شَوَّالٌ، وَذُو الْقَعْدَةِ، وَعَشْرُ لَيَالٍ مِنْ ذِي الْحِجَّةِ . ¤ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: شَوَّالٌ، وَذُو الْقَعْدَةِ، وَذُو الْحِجَّةِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said in the explanation of Allah the Exalted's statement: "The Hajj is (in) well-known months" (__QUR_N__): "Shawwal, Dhu al-Qa'dah, and the ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "Shawwal, Dhu al-Qa'dah, and Dhu al-Hijjah."
Hadith 329
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُهَاجِرٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: شَوَّالٌ، وَذُو الْقَعْدَةِ، وَذُو الْحِجَّةِ .
Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: Shawwal, Dhu al-Qa'dah, and Dhu al-Hijjah.
Hadith 330
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا شَرِيكٌ، قَالَ: نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ قَالَ: شَوَّالٌ، وَذُو الْقَعْدَةِ، وَذُو الْحِجَّةِ .
Sharik (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated that Isma'il bin 'Ayyash (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Shawwal, Dhu al-Qa'dah, and Dhu al-Hijjah.
Hadith 331
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: شَوَّالٌ، وَذُو الْقَعْدَةِ، وَعَشْرٌ مِنْ ذِي الْحِجَّةِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Shawwal, Dhu al-Qa'dah, and the first ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah.
Hadith 332
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ وَهُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَالشَّعْبِيِّ، أَنَّهُمَا قَالَا: شَوَّالٌ، وَذُو الْقَعْدَةِ، وَعَشْرٌ مِنْ ذِي الْحِجَّةِ .
Ibrahim and Sha'bi, may Allah have mercy on them, said: Shawwal, Dhu al-Qa'dah, and the first ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah.
Hadith 333
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: نَا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ .
Hasan al-Basri, may Allah have mercy on him, said something similar to this.
Hadith 334
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ يَقُولُ: قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ: { الْحَجُّ أَشْهُرٌ مَعْلُومَاتٌ } قَالَ: شَوَّالٌ، وَذُو الْقَعْدَةِ، وَذُو الْحِجَّةِ .
Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “The Hajj is (in) well-known months,” meaning Shawwal, Dhu al-Qa’dah, and Dhu al-Hijjah.
