[قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا أَمْوَالَكُمْ بَيْنَكُمْ بِالبَاطِلِ وَتُدْلُوا بِهَا إِلَى الحُكَّامِ لِتَأْكُلُوا فَرِيقًا مِنْ أَمْوَالِ النَّاسِ بِالإِثْمِ وَأَنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ}]
His saying, Exalted is He: {And do not consume one another's wealth unjustly or send it [in bribery] to the rulers in order that [they might aid] you [to] consume a portion of the wealth of the people in sin, while you know [it is unlawful].}

Hadith 282
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: { وَلا تَأْكُلُوا أَمْوَالَكُمْ بَيْنَكُمْ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَتُدْلُوا بِهَا إِلَى الْحُكَّامِ } قَالَ: لَا تُخَاصِمْ وَأَنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ ظَالِمٌ
Ibn Abi Najih (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated from Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) regarding the statement of Allah, the Exalted: «وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا أَمْوَالَكُمْ بَيْنَكُمْ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَتُدْلُوا بِهَا إِلَى الْحُكَّامِ», that Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Do not fight at a time when you know that you are the wrongdoers.
