قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَتَقَطَّعَتْ بِهِمُ الأَسْبَابُ
His saying, Exalted is He: {And all means have been cut off from them.}

Hadith 240
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدٍ الْمُكْتِبِ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، فِي قَوْلِهِ: { وَتَقَطَّعَتْ بِهِمُ الأَسْبَابُ } قَالَ: الْأَوْصَالُ الَّتِي كَانَتْ بَيْنَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا .
Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “And all means of connection between them will be cut off” — that is, the relationships and ties that existed between them in the world will all be severed.
Hadith 241
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدٍ الْمُكْتِبِ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، قَالَ: الْوَصْلُ الَّذِي كَانَ بَيْنَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا .
Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The relationship that existed between them in the world.
