قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَلِكُلٍّ وِجْهَةٌ هُوَ مُوَلِّيهَا فَاسْتَبِقُوا الْخَيْرَاتِ أَيْنَ مَا تَكُونُوا يَأْتِ بِكُمُ اللهُ جَمِيعًا إِنَّ اللهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ}
His saying, Exalted is He: {And for all is a direction toward which he turns. So race to [all that is] good. Wherever you may be, Allah will bring you forth [for judgment] all together. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.}

Hadith 228
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا، عَنْ أَبِي سِنَانٍ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ مُزَاحِمٍ، فِي قَوْلِهِ: { وَلِكُلٍّ وِجْهَةٌ هُوَ مُوَلِّيهَا } قَالَ: لِكُلِّ أَهْلِ دِينٍ قِبْلَةٌ يُصَلُّونَ إِلَيْهَا، { فَاسْتَبِقُوا الْخَيْرَاتِ } يَقُولُ لِهَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ: { أَيْنَ مَا تَكُونُوا يَأْتِ بِكُمُ اللهُ جَمِيعًا } قَالَ: الْبَرُّ وَالْفَاجِرُ .
Dhahhak bin Muzahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said regarding Allah’s statement: “And for every one is a direction to which he turns” — for every follower of a religion there is a qiblah towards which he prays. “So race to [all that is] good” — this is being said to this Ummah. “Wherever you may be, Allah will bring you forth all together” — meaning Allah will gather both the righteous and the wicked.
