قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {قَالَ إِنَّهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٌ صَفْرَاءُ فَاقِعٌ لَوْنُهَا تَسُرُّ النَّاظِرِينَ}
His saying, the Exalted: "He said, 'He says, it is a yellow cow, bright in color—pleasing to the observers.'"

Hadith 192
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا نُوحُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَيْفٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: { صَفْرَاءُ فَاقِعٌ لَوْنُهَا } قَالَ: هِيَ السَّوْدَاءُ شَدِيدَةُ السَّوَادِ .
Hasan al-Basri, may Allah have mercy on him, regarding Allah Almighty’s statement: ﴿صَفْرَاءُ فَاقِعٌ لَوْنُهَا﴾ [سورہ البقرہ: 69], said: “It is black, a color inclined towards deep blackness.”
