قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَقُلْنَا يَا آدَمُ اسْكُنْ أَنْتَ وَزَوْجُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَكُلا مِنْهَا رَغَدًا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمَا وَلا تَقْرَبَا هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةَ فَتَكُونَا مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ * فَأَزَلَّهُمَا الشَّيْطَانُ عَنْهَا فَأَخْرَجَهُمَا مِمَّا كَانَا فِيهِ}
His saying, the Exalted: "And We said, 'O Adam, dwell, you and your wife, in Paradise and eat therefrom in [ease and] abundance from wherever you will. But do not approach this tree, lest you be among the wrongdoers.' But Satan caused them to slip from it and removed them from that [condition] in which they had been..."

Hadith 188
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ بَيَانٍ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ جَعْدَةَ بْنِ هُبَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: الشَّجَرَةُ الَّتِي افْتُتِنَ بِهَا آدَمُ شَجَرَةُ الْكَرْمِ، وَجُعِلَتْ فِتْنَةً لِوَلَدِهِ بَعْدَهُ .
Jadah bin Hubairah (may Allah have mercy on him) says: "The tree because of which our master Adam (peace be upon him) was tested was the grapevine, and this very tree has also been made a trial for his descendants."
