قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {قَالُوا أَتَجْعَلُ فِيهَا مَنْ يُفْسِدُ فِيهَا وَيَسْفِكُ الدِّمَاءَ وَنَحْنُ نُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِكَ وَنُقَدِّسُ لَكَ قَالَ إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ مَا لا تَعْلَمُونَ}
His saying, the Exalted: "They said, 'Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your praise and sanctify You?' He said, 'Indeed, I know that which you do not know.'"

Hadith 184
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، أَوْ غَيْرِهِ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: { إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ مَا لا تَعْلَمُونَ } قَالَ: عَلِمَ مِنْ إِبْلِيسَ الْمَعْصِيَةَ وَخَلَقَهُ لَهَا .
Sufyan (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Ibn Abi Najil (may Allah have mercy on him) or from someone else, who narrates from Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) that regarding the statement of Allah the Exalted «إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ», he said: "Allah the Exalted knew that Iblis would disobey, and He created him for that purpose."
