Sunan Sa'id

قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلا الضَّالِّينَ}
His saying, the Exalted: "Not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray"

Hadith 177
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ: (غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَغَيْرِ الضَّالِّينَ) .
Aswad (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) used to recite: "not of those who have evoked [Your] anger, nor of those who are astray."
Hadith 178
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا سَلَّامٌ الطَّوِيلُ، عَنْ زَيْدٍ الْعَمِّيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: فَاتِحَةُ الْكِتَابِ شِفَاءٌ مِنَ السُّمِّ .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The Opening of the Book (Al-Fatiha) is a cure for poison.
Hadith 179
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِعَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ: الْمَغْضُوبُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْيَهُودُ، وَالنَّصَارَى هُمُ الضَّالُّونَ .
Ismail bin Khalid (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sayyiduna Adi bin Hatim (may Allah be pleased with him): By «المغضوب عليهم» is meant "the Jews" and by «الضالون» is meant "the Christians."
