بَابُ تَفْسِيرِ سُورَةِ الْأَنْفَالِ الْآيَةُ (1) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الأَنْفَالِ قُلِ الأَنْفَالُ لِلهِ وَالرَّسُولِ فَاتَّقُوا اللهَ وَأَصْلِحُوا ذَاتَ بَيْنِكُمْ وَأَطِيعُوا اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ}Chapter: Interpretation of Surah Al-Anfal, Verse (1) His saying, Exalted is He: {They ask you about the bounties [of war]. Say, "The bounties are for Allah and the Messenger. So fear Allah and amend that which is between you and obey Allah and His Messenger if you should be believers"}
Hadith 983

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ الثَّقَفِيِّ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ، قَالَ: لَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ بَدْرٍ قَتَلْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْعَاصِ وَأَخَذْتُ سَيْفَهُ، وَكَانَ يُسَمَّى ذَا الْكَتِيفَةِ، فَجِئْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: اذْهَبْ فَاطْرَحْهُ فِي الْقَبَضِ . فَذَهَبْتُ وَبِي مَا لَا يَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْ قَتْلِ أَخِي وَأَخْذِ سَلَبِي، فَمَا جَاوَزْتُهُ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا حَتَّى نَزَلَتْ سُورَةُ الْأَنْفَالِ، فَقَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: اذْهَبْ فَخُذْ سَيْفَكَ .
Sayyiduna Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: When the day of Badr came, I killed Sa’id bin Al-‘As and took his sword, which was called Dhu Al-Kataif. I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he said: Go and put it in the spoils of war. So I went, and in my heart was a feeling that only Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, knows, because of killing my brother and losing the spoils of war. I had not gone far when Surah Al-Anfal was revealed, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Go and take your sword.
