Hadith 981

Muawiyah bin Qurrah, may Allah have mercy on him, said: A merchant who brings us food and drink is more beloved to me than a storyteller who sits between two men, and I heard Muawiyah bin Qurrah, may Allah have mercy on him, saying that Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, said to women: __QUR_N__ “And stay in your houses” __QUR_N__, meaning remain in your homes, but the storytellers command them to go out from their homes.
