الْآيَةُ (204) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَإِذَا قُرِئَ الْقُرْآنُ فَاسْتَمِعُوا لَهُ وَأَنْصِتُوا لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ}Verse (204) His saying, Exalted is He: {So when the Qur'an is recited, then listen to it and pay attention that you may receive mercy}
Hadith 977

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَبِي حُرَّةَ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، قَالَ: فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَالْخُطْبَةِ .
Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The command of Allah, the Exalted and Majestic, “And when the Qur’an is recited, then listen to it and be silent,” applies to both the prayer and the sermon.
