الْآيَةُ (143) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَلَمَّا جَاءَ مُوسَى لِمِيقَاتِنَا وَكَلَّمَهُ رَبُّهُ قَالَ رَبِّ أَرِنِي أَنْظُرْ إِلَيْكَ} إِلَى قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: {وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ}Verse (143) His saying, Exalted is He: {And when Moses came at Our appointed time and his Lord spoke to him, he said, "My Lord, show me [Yourself] that I may look at You"} to His saying: {And I am the first of the believers}
Hadith 960

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا خَلَفُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: يَوْمَ كَلَّمَ اللهُ مُوسَى عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ كَانَ عَلَيْهِ جُبَّةُ صُوفٍ وَكِسَاءُ صُوفٍ وَسَرَاوِيلُ صُوفٍ وَكُمَّةُ صُوفٍ، وَنَعْلَانِ مِنْ جِلْدِ حِمَارٍ غَيْرِ ذَكِيٍّ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The day Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, spoke to Sayyiduna Musa (peace be upon him), he was wearing a woolen cloak, a woolen sheet, woolen trousers, a woolen cap, and on his feet were shoes made from the untanned hide of a donkey.
