الْآيَةُ (40) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا وَاسْتَكْبَرُوا عَنْهَا لا تُفَتَّحُ لَهُمْ أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ وَلا يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ حَتَّى يَلِجَ الْجَمَلُ فِي سَمِّ الْخِيَاطِ}Verse (40) His saying, Exalted is He: {Indeed, those who deny Our verses and are arrogant toward them—the gates of heaven will not be opened for them, nor will they enter Paradise until a camel enters into the eye of a needle}
Hadith 950

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا عَمْرُو بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ يَقْرَأُ (حَتَّى يَلِجَ الْجُمَّلُ) ؛ قَالَ: حِبَالُ السُّفُنِ .
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said regarding Allah the Exalted’s statement ﴿حَتَّى يَلِجَ الْجُمَّلُ﴾: What is meant by this is the ropes of ships, i.e., the ropes of vessels.
