الْآيَةُ (40) قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا وَاسْتَكْبَرُوا عَنْهَا لا تُفَتَّحُ لَهُمْ أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ وَلا يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ حَتَّى يَلِجَ الْجَمَلُ فِي سَمِّ الْخِيَاطِ}Verse (40) His saying, Exalted is He: {Indeed, those who deny Our verses and are arrogant toward them—the gates of heaven will not be opened for them, nor will they enter Paradise until a camel enters into the eye of a needle}
Hadith 949

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ (حَتَّى يَلِجَ الْجُمَّلُ)، قَالَ: حِبَالُ السُّفُنِ هَذِهِ الْقُلُوسُ .
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said regarding the statement of Allah the Exalted: ﴿حَتَّى يَلِجَ الْجُمَّلُ﴾: What is meant by this is the ropes of ships, that is, the ropes which are used in ships.
