الْآيَةُ (153) قَوْلُهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: {وَأَنَّ هَذَا صِرَاطِي مُسْتَقِيمًا فَاتَّبِعُوهُ وَلا تَتَّبِعُوا السُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمْ عَنْ سَبِيلِهِ}Verse (153) His saying, Mighty and Majestic: {And, [moreover], this is My path, which is straight, so follow it; and do not follow [other] ways, for you will be separated from His way}
Hadith 935

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: خَطَّ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَطًّا، فَقَالَ: هَذَا سَبِيلُ اللهِ، ثُمَّ خَطَّ خُطُوطًا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ، فَقَالَ: وَهَذِهِ سُبُلٌ، عَلَى كُلِّ سَبِيلٍ مِنْهَا شَيْطَانٌ يَدْعُو إِلَيْهِ، ثُمَّ تَلَا: { وَأَنَّ هَذَا صِرَاطِي مُسْتَقِيمًا فَاتَّبِعُوهُ وَلا تَتَّبِعُوا السُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمْ عَنْ سَبِيلِهِ } .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) drew a straight line for us and said: This is the path of Allah. Then he drew several lines to the right and left and said: These are other paths, upon each of these paths is a devil calling towards it. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: "And that, indeed, is My straight path, so follow it, and do not follow [other] ways, for you will be separated from His way."
