قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {إِذْ قَالَ الْحَوَارِيُّونَ يَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ هَلْ يَسْتَطِيعُ رَبُّكَ أَنْ يُنَـزِّلَ عَلَيْنَا مَائِدَةً مِنَ السَّمَاءِ قَالَ اتَّقُوا اللهَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ}His (Allah's) saying: {When the disciples said: O Jesus, son of Mary! Can your Lord send down to us a table from the heaven?...}
Hadith 868

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، قَالَ: نَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ: { هَلْ تَسْتَطِيعُ رَبَّكَ } .
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to recite this verse as: "Hal tastatee'u rabbaka" meaning, "Can you have ability with your Lord?"
