قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {إِذْ قَالَ الْحَوَارِيُّونَ يَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ هَلْ يَسْتَطِيعُ رَبُّكَ أَنْ يُنَـزِّلَ عَلَيْنَا مَائِدَةً مِنَ السَّمَاءِ قَالَ اتَّقُوا اللهَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ}His (Allah's) saying: {When the disciples said: O Jesus, son of Mary! Can your Lord send down to us a table from the heaven?...}
Hadith 866

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، قَالَ: نَا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: نَا عَوْفٌ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ: { هَلْ يَسْتَطِيعُ } .
Hasan al-Basri, may Allah have mercy on him, used to recite this verse as: "hal yastati'u" meaning, does he have the ability?
