قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {فَكَفَّارَتُهُ إِطْعَامُ عَشَرَةِ مَسَاكِينَ مِنْ أَوْسَطِ مَا تُطْعِمُونَ أَهْلِيكُمْ أَوْ كِسْوَتُهُمْ أَوْ تَحْرِيرُ رَقَبَةٍ فَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ ثَلاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ ذَلِكَ كَفَّارَةُ أَيْمَانِكُمْ إِذَا حَلَفْتُمْ وَاحْفَظُوا أَيْمَانَكُمْ} .His (Allah's) saying: {But its expiation is the feeding of ten needy people from the average of that which you feed your [own] families or clothing them or the freeing of a slave. But whoever cannot find [or afford it]—then a fast of three days [is required]. That is the expiation for oaths when you have sworn. But guard your oaths}
Hadith 800

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، قَالَ: نَا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: نَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُهُ وَسُئِلَ عَنْ قَوْلِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: { أَوْ كِسْوَتُهُمْ } - فِي كَفَّارَةِ الْيَمِينِ - قَالَ: لِكُلِّ مِسْكِينٍ عَبَاءَةٌ وَعِمَامَةٌ .
It was asked from Sa'id bin Al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) about the noble verse: "or their clothing" regarding the expiation of an oath, so he said: Each needy person should be given a cloak and a turban.
