قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {فَكَفَّارَتُهُ إِطْعَامُ عَشَرَةِ مَسَاكِينَ مِنْ أَوْسَطِ مَا تُطْعِمُونَ أَهْلِيكُمْ أَوْ كِسْوَتُهُمْ أَوْ تَحْرِيرُ رَقَبَةٍ فَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ ثَلاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ ذَلِكَ كَفَّارَةُ أَيْمَانِكُمْ إِذَا حَلَفْتُمْ وَاحْفَظُوا أَيْمَانَكُمْ} .His (Allah's) saying: {But its expiation is the feeding of ten needy people from the average of that which you feed your [own] families or clothing them or the freeing of a slave. But whoever cannot find [or afford it]—then a fast of three days [is required]. That is the expiation for oaths when you have sworn. But guard your oaths}
Hadith 798
اُردوEn
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، قَالَ: نَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: { مِنْ أَوْسَطِ مَا تُطْعِمُونَ أَهْلِيكُمْ } قَالَ: كَانَ يَكُونُ لِلْكَبِيرِ أَفْضَلَ مِنَ الصَّغِيرِ، وَلِلْحُرِّ أَفْضَلَ مِنَ الْمَمْلُوكِ، فَأَمَرُوا بِوَسَطٍ مِنْ ذَلِكَ لَيْسَ بِأَرْفَعِهِ وَلَا بِأَوْضَعِهِ .
Saeed bin Jubair (may Allah have mercy on him) said in the explanation of ﴿مِنْ أَوْسَطِ مَا تُطْعِمُونَ أَهْلِيكُمْ﴾: The food for the elder used to be better than that for the younger, and for the free person better than for the slave, so Allah the Exalted commanded the middle standard, which is neither the highest nor the lowest.
