قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ إِذْ ظَلَمُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ جَاءُوكَ فَاسْتَغْفَرُوا اللهَ وَاسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُمُ الرَّسُولُ لَوَجَدُوا اللهَ تَوَّابًا رَحِيمًا} .His (Allah's) saying: {And if, when they wronged themselves, they had come to you, [O Muhammad], and asked forgiveness of Allah and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah Accepting of repentance and Merciful}
Hadith 659

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ مَعْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ: إِنَّ فِي النِّسَاءِ لَخَمْسُ آيَاتٍ مَا يَسُرُّنِي بِهِنَّ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا، وَقَدْ عَلِمْتُ أَنَّ الْعُلَمَاءَ إِذَا مَرُّوا بِهَا يَعْرِفُونَهَا: { إِنْ تَجْتَنِبُوا كَبَائِرَ مَا تُنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ نُكَفِّرْ عَنْكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَنُدْخِلْكُمْ مُدْخَلا كَرِيمًا }، وَقَوْلُهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: { إِنَّ اللهَ لا يَظْلِمُ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ وَإِنْ تَكُ حَسَنَةً يُضَاعِفْهَا وَيُؤْتِ مِنْ لَدُنْهُ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا }، وَ: { إِنَّ اللهَ لا يَغْفِرُ أَنْ يُشْرَكَ بِهِ وَيَغْفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَلِكَ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ } الْآيَةَ، { وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ إِذْ ظَلَمُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ جَاءُوكَ فَاسْتَغْفَرُوا اللهَ وَاسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُمُ الرَّسُولُ لَوَجَدُوا اللهَ تَوَّابًا رَحِيمًا }، { وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ سُوءًا أَوْ يَظْلِمْ نَفْسَهُ ثُمَّ يَسْتَغْفِرِ اللهَ يَجِدِ اللهَ غَفُورًا رَحِيمًا } .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: There are five verses of the Qur'an which are related to women, for which I would not prefer the world and all that is in it in exchange, and I know that when the scholars pass by these verses, they recognize them: "If you avoid the major sins which you are forbidden, We will remove from you your lesser sins and admit you to a noble entrance," "Indeed, Allah does not wrong [even] as much as an atom's weight," "Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him," "And if, when they wronged themselves, they had come to you," "And whoever does evil or wrongs himself then seeks forgiveness of Allah will find Allah Forgiving and Merciful."
