قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَالْمُحْصَنَاتُ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ إِلا مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ}His (Allah's) saying: {And [also prohibited to you are] married women except those your right hands possess}
Hadith 609

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: نَا مُطَرِّفٌ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، - فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: { وَالْمُحْصَنَاتُ مِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ } - قَالَ: إِحْصَانُهَا: أَنْ تُحَصِّنَ فَرْجَهَا مِنَ الْفُجُورِ، وَأَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ .
Shu'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The chastity of the women of the People of the Book is that they protect their private parts from immorality and perform ghusl (ritual bath) after sexual impurity.
