قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَالْمُحْصَنَاتُ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ إِلا مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ}His (Allah's) saying: {And [also prohibited to you are] married women except those your right hands possess}
Hadith 608

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ - فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: { وَالْمُحْصَنَاتُ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ إِلا مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ } - قَالَ: إِحْصَانُ الْأَمَةِ: دُخُولُهَا فِي الْإِسْلَامِ وَإِقْرَارُهَا بِهِ، إِذَا دَخَلَتْ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ وَأَقَرَّتْ بِهِ، ثُمَّ زَنَتْ، فَعَلَيْهَا جَلْدُ خَمْسِينَ .
Shu'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) said in the explanation of the verse: "And [forbidden to you are] married women except those your right hands possess" (__QUR_N__): The protection (ihsan) of a slave woman is her entering into Islam and her acknowledgment (of it). So when she enters Islam and acknowledges it, then commits adultery, the punishment of fifty lashes will be carried out on her.
