قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَإِنْ كَانَ رَجُلٌ يُورَثُ كَلالَةً أَوِ امْرَأَةٌ وَلَهُ أَخٌ أَوْ أُخْتٌ فَلِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا السُّدُسُ فَإِنْ كَانُوا أَكْثَرَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ فَهُمْ شُرَكَاءُ فِي الثُّلُثِ}His (Allah's) saying: {And if a man or woman is inherited in kalalah and has a brother or a sister, then each one of them receives a sixth; but if they are more than two, they share a third}
Hadith 593

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: نَا أَبُو حَيَّانَ التَّيْمِيُّ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ عَلَى مِنْبَرِ الْمَدِينَةِ: أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ، أَلَا إِنَّهُ نَزَلَ تَحْرِيمُ الْخَمْرِ يَوْمَ نَزَلَ، وَهِيَ مِنْ خَمْسَةِ أَشْيَاءَ: مِنَ الْعِنَبِ، وَالتَّمْرِ، وَالْعَسَلِ، وَالْحِنْطَةِ، وَالشَّعِيرِ، وَالْخَمْرُ مَا خَامَرَ الْعَقْلَ، وَثَلَاثٌ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ وَدِدْتُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يُفَارِقْنَا حَتَّى يَعْهَدَ إِلَيْنَا عَهْدًا نَنْتَهِي إِلَيْهِ: الْجَدُّ، وَالْكَلَالَةُ، وَأَبْوَابٌ مِنْ أَبْوَابِ الرِّبَا .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: I heard Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) saying from the pulpit of Madinah: "O people! Beware, indeed on the day when the prohibition of alcohol was revealed, it was being made from five things: grapes, dates, honey, wheat, and barley, and alcohol is that which covers the mind. And there are three things, O people! About which I wished that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had given us a clear command so that we could act accordingly: (1) inheritance of the grandfather, (2) kalalah (a person who dies leaving neither parents nor children), and (3) some matters of usury."
