قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَابْتَلُوا الْيَتَامَى حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغُوا النِّكَاحَ فَإِنْ آنَسْتُمْ مِنْهُمْ رُشْدًا فَادْفَعُوا إِلَيْهِمْ أَمْوَالَهُمْ}His (Allah's) saying: {Test the orphans until they reach marriageable age; then if you perceive in them sound judgment, release their property to them}
Hadith 563

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ: لَا يُدْفَعُ إِلَى الْيَتِيمِ مَالُهُ وَإِنْ شَمِطَ، حَتَّى يُؤْنِسَ مِنْهُ رُشْدًا ؟؟ .
Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) says: The orphan should not be given his wealth, even if his hair turns white, until a sign of guidance is seen in him.
